Latest Club News
If you look at the Men's Evening league fixtures under the "Members menu" I have added a column "Teams" on the end. If you click the links under this column you can view the team selection sheets.
If this is useful and you would require this through the season please let me know. It will be time consuming for me, so will only carry on if requested.
Note. You are still required to tick your name off on the sheet at the club house so the captains know your availability.
If any other captains require their team sheet information added to the website please contact me.
Rex Barnett a member of our club and a parish councillor, has been busy trying to talk the Haydon Wick Parish and Swindon councillors into approving the building of a Indoor Bowls arena onto the back of the Haydon Centre.
Rex has had a general plan produced to show the suggested site for the facility.
All bowls players may be interested in viewing the plan.
It is being proposed by Rex so that it would be run for all bowlers to use, casual or members of existing clubs, it has no tie up with Haydon Wick Bowls Club and never will.
Well the Ladies have played their first two afternoon games, won on one rink, lost on the other in both games.
The Men started their campaign with an overall win by just 2 shots. Lost on two rinks draw on one and thanks to Tony Bluett's rink winning we gained the overall (9-5).
Ladies start their evening matches tonight along with the Men's Wilts league. Good luck to all the teams this year.
